Chris Tiu announces retirement from PBA: “#17 signing off…”

Rain or Shine basketball player Chris Tiu has officially announced his retirement from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) as he marked the end of his basketball journey.

In his Instagram account, the 33-year-old guard confirmed his retirement on Tuesday, January 8 as he posted a photos of him with his teammates together with his farewell message to his supporters.

He wrote: “My heartfelt gratitude to every person who has been part of my basketball journey!! Most especially to our Lord who makes all things possible ? It’s now time to move on. My heart is full. #17 signing off…”

Chris finished his PBA career on a high note in his last conference with the Elasto Painters with an average of 8.9 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.9 rebounds per game.
