Host and actress Coleen Garcia gave an update about her friend Nadine Lustre who recently made it to the headlines following reports about her alleged break up with James Reid which she has denied.
In Coleen’s interview with ABS-CBN News and some members of the press before the special screening of her movie ‘Mia’, the actress shared how Nadine and James are doing fine amid controversies about their relationship.

Coleen said: “Okay naman siya. She’s very happy. Actually she’s in a very good place ngayon. Maganda ang simula ng 2020. Okay din naman [si James]. I mean, they have the whole Careless thing going on also, and that’s doing really well.”
Coleen earlier said that she celebrated the New Year’s Eve with Nadine and James amid their supposed split.
Coleen then shared how Nadine thanked her and apologized to her after she gave her statement regarding the issue.
“Actually nag-thank siya at nag-sorry din siya. Kasi wala naman ako sa lugar para sumagot sa tanong na ganito, di ba? So nag-sorry din siya. Pero okay naman, I’m her friend, I understand… She just said ‘thank you’ lang,” said Coleen.
