She wrote: “Remember the late #JulieVega of #AnnaLiza fame? I chanced upon this old photo as i was cleaning and sorting out my books. This is a still photo from a movie we starred in together in 1984. I played her older sister in an episode in the trilogy #LovinglyYoursthemovie. (#HelenVela)I remember we shared the same room and bed in the hotel where we were billeted in while filming the movie. She couldn’t sleep without putting her leg over mine. She called it “making tanday” ? She would say “please, Ate di ako makatulog na di nakatanday.” ?Julie was a very sweet, cheerful young lady… and a very sensitive actress. ?❤️ #Memories #Oldmovies”

Julie died in 1985 due to pneumonia. She was 16.
