Actress Cristine Reyes poured her heart out and narrated the kind of childhood she had or never had. In an interview with Luchi Cruz-Valdez on Usapang Real Life, Cristine talked about the difficulties she experienced during her childhood days.
Cristine added that now that she has her child Amarah Khatibi, her child served as her inspiration and life.
“I was very isolated, very isolated po. Wala akong kausap sa bahay. Wala akong napagsusumbungan. Wala akong nayayakap, nahahalikan or nasasabihang ‘I love you,’ ganyan — kuya, ate, mommy, daddy, wala. So yon yung missing part po sa buhay ko,” she added.
“Kaya nu’ng pumasok po ako sa showbiz, kilala po akong bratinela, kilala akong awayera, ganyan. Kasi nga hindi naman nila alam ang pinagdadaanan ko sa buhay ko,” Cristine said.
“Isolated ako nu’ng bata ako, eh. Walang nagmahal. Walang nag-alaga sa akin. Ako lang nag-alaga sa sarili ko. Kumbago Lumaki ako sa ibang pamilya,” she continued.
