CHED further said that BEST violated the CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 19, series of 2014, or the “Enhanced Policies and Guidelines on the Conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degrees by HEIs”, saying HEI’s that have been in existence for at least 25 years are the only authorized schools to award honorary doctorate degrees.
Daniel has not released a statement yet regarding the issue.
