Actress Dawn Chang expressed her opinion with regards to women being abused by their male counterparts. Dawn made clear her position by a post on her Instagram account:
“No woman deserves violence or any form of abuse from their partner. May it be physical, financial, emotional or even sexual abuse. Be brave enough to leave the relationship but be strong for the aftershock because the abuse sometimes continues even after leaving the relationship.” said Dawn.
One netizen reacted to the post of Dawn and said:
“Ayan na naman sya sawsaw suka…. Kahit lalaki hndi din deserve and any form of violence.”
Dawn saw the comment and reacted:
“Tama ka no one including men deserves violence. Sana hindi mo nararanasan yan ngayon. Sana hindi rin maranasan ng anak mo pag laki nya. Kaya please guide your daughter well because one day she will love hard and she will give her all.” Dawn replied.
