Dennis Trillo gets sentimental over MMFF Best Actor award after 14 years

After 14 years, actor Dennis Trillo won another acting award as he was hailed as Best Actor in the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival awards night for the movie “One Great Love”.

In his Instagram post, Dennis could not help but get sentimental as he looked back at his first acting award in 2004 where he won as the Best Supporting Actor for “Aishite Imasu 1941: Mahal Kita” in the same festival.

He wrote alongside a photo of his Best Actor award: “Labing apat na taon mula noong ako’y unang nakatanggap ng ganitong parangal, para sa pelikulang Aishite Imasu 1941 directed by Joel Lamangan, na siya ring pinaka una kong pelikulang nagawa sa buong buhay ko. Salamat po Mother Lily sa pagtitiwala noon pa man, hindi hindi ko po yun makakalimutan. Taos puso din ang aking pasasalamat kay Miss Kim Chiu ,JC deVera, Marlo Mortel at Miles Ocampo lahat ay magagaling at seryoso sa trabaho, mapalad at proud akong nakagawa ng proyekto kasama kayo.”
