Dimples Romana gushes over her husband’s simple gift— a pair of ‘alpombra’ slippers

“Kadenang Ginto” star Dimples Romana has been gaining praises from netizens not only because of her superb acting skills but more because of her simplicity and kind heart.

In her Instagram post, Dimples has proven her simplicity once again as she gushed over the ‘best valentine gift’ she ever received from her husband— a pair of ‘alpombra’ slippers.

Dimples shared a photo of her husband’s simple Valentine’s gift and shared why she considered it special.

She wrote: “Best. Valentine. GIFT. Ever.
Sino sa inyo may alam what these are?
Just got home from KG taping and saw this. Di ko nakasama ang mahal ko ng mismong araw ng valentines kasi taping kami. Pero when I saw this, it made me realize just how blessed I am to have found a love so great that it celebrates the simplicity of love. A love that forgives shortcomings and absence. A love that truly listens and understands exactly what you need, when you need it.

A week back my slippers gave up on me. I remember telling my husband na sira na yung tsinelas ko. Bumili ako ng kapalit pero kinuwento ko sa kanya na nung bata pa ako, ang nakasanayan ko talaga yung alpombra. Just when I thought my blabbering will go unnoticed, I had forgotten that I married a man who may not show me affection always but knew just what my heart was yearning for the past months- simplicity. Going back to my roots and grounding myself. Learning to go back to basics in order to build more dreams that are only true to my core. Ang Galing. Genius. Salamat mahal. This may be a simple red box with old school slippers, but I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Exactly what I needed ❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day to all!
