After Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera confirmed her second pregnancy, her husband Dingdong Dantes finally addressed rumors about his candidacy for the upcoming elections.
In his Instagram account, Dingdong released a lengthy statement,saying his wife’s pregnancy made him decide to focus on his family first before becoming a public servant.

Part of his statement says: “Sa kabila ng buong suportangg binibigay sa akin ni Marian, ng buong pamilya, at mga kaibigan sa aumang magiging desisyon ko sa pagsabak sa pulitika, malinaw sa akin na sa panahong ito ay kailangan kong maging buo para sa aking pamilya.”
“My humble service to the public will continue and it could take a different form or level in th future; but first, I have to ensure that my home is protected and secured before I can take care of others,” Dingdong added.
