Direk Eric Matti reacted to a report released by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) indicating that 83% of the 4,000 respondents said they became poorer, 6% said their life became better and 10% said there life situation remains the same.
The said report was made May 4-10, 2020.

Direk Matti posted a screencapture of the said report with a caption:

“malamang! Politiko! Lahat sila gumanda ang buhay. Trillion tung dumaan nitong covid paanong di bumuti buhay nila?!!!” said Direk Matti.
