Dominique Cojuangco, the daughter of Gretchen Barretto and Tonyboy Cojuangco, aired her side over her absence at the wake of her late grandfather Miguel Barretto after a netizen called her out and her mom, asking them to pay respect to the Barretto patriarch.
On Instagram, a netizen tagged Gretchen and Dominique and asked them to Miguel “instead of partying” which prompted Dominique to respond.

The netizen wrote: “Hay nako @claubarretto dka nakakatuling lalo mo lang piinapalala lahat dahil sa post mo. Dba pwedeng ceasefire muna kayo pra lang sa tatay nyi. He will never be happy seeing u all like that. Pinapairall nyo kasi ang pride, kailan pa kayo tatahimik kung may mawala na naman isa sa pamilya nyo? @gretchenbarretto @dominique pay some respect to your dad instead of partying. Alam mo @gretchenbarretto ang lungkot lungkot nang buhay mo kasi mahirap kasi sayo magpakumbaba kinain ka nang pride mo”
Dominique then responded to the netizen and wrote: “you don’t know me”
When the netizen asked if she was present at her grandfather’s wake, Dominique responded: “I’m in a completely different country with a job.”
Meanwhile, Dominique who is currently based in San Francisco, recently attended the wedding of Albert and Liezl Martinez’s daughter, Alissa Martinez in Canada during the last day of her grandfather’s wake.
