Vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome can’t help but react to the tweet of Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen related to her ‘Kanto themed’ birthday party.
It can be recalled that recently, many netizens expressed mixed reactions on how Donnalyn celebrated her 28th birthday. In a series of posts on her social media account and on her YouTube vlog, Donnalyn celebrated her special day by having a ‘Kanto themed’ party that was attended by her celebrity and social media personality friends.
In a tweet made by Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic, he wrote:
“Instead of pretending to be poor through a lavish kanto themed party, why not understand what it is to be poor and find ways and means to assist. To be poor is not something to celebrate by the rich. It is insensitive. Just saying.”
The said tweet of by Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic caught the attention of Donnalyn as she expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments.
In her Twitter account, Donnalyn shared several screenshots including her Facebook post where she addressed the tweet of Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic.
Donnalyn slammed her Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic as she called him ‘unprofessional’ as she wrote on her tweet:
“@marvicleonen That Kanto Birthday party is my history! How unprofessional of you to not gather enough facts before judging. You are a Supreme Court Justice Associate, Sir! I provided proof even sa vlog na dati pa akong ganun so sino kayo para pagbawalan ako sa dati kong gawi?”
