Former PBA basketball player Doug Kramer gave his honest opinion when a netizen asked him if he considered himself as a social media influencer.
In his Instagram story, Doug used the ‘Question Sticker’ feature of Instagram to got engaged to his fans and followers. He posted “I got few mins! Ask me anything!” One netizen asked “Do u consider yourself as a “social media influencer”?”

To which Doug answered “I’m allergic to that word. No. When it comes to endorsements, our family is a brand ambassador, we’re brand partners. We represent them the best way we can and we help them reach their target/goals once engagements are done. For our fans that have been supporting us, they say we’re a motivation to them, so we try and be the best example to them. The “influencer” word has been thrown around too much without knowing the real context of what it means to be a positive influence.”
