Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) reminded online sellers that disclosing the prices of their products is mandatory. Failure to do so is an evidence of profiteering. DTI Undersecretary Ruth Castelo in an interview with GMA-7 DZBB 594 said this is under Republic Act No. 7581 or the Price Act.
Kapag in-advertise or you offer it for sale tapos walang price tag, that’s profiteering.” Castelo said.

It is a common knowledge among online sellers to reveal their price tags via “private message” or “personal message.”
