Due to the continuous rise in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19, the country has now been placed in a state of a public health emergency. The said outbreak started in late 2019 in the province of Wuhan in China.
With his, the management of Eat Bulaga has temporarily suspended the admission of their live studio audience to contain the spread of the virus. This is to ensure the safety of all, including their talents, staff, crew, and the audience as well.
The management asks for the understanding of their televiewers and fans. Before resorting to this action, they thoroughly assess possible ways of cooperating with the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Eat Bulaga made known its decision via an Instagram post:
Despite the threat of the virus, Eat Bulaga will still continue to bring joy and laughter to the thousands of televiewers they have. They also wish for the health and safety of all.
