In his interview last 2012, Eddie revealed that he wants his remains to be cremated immediately after he dies and that he wanted his ashes to be scattered on Manila Bay.
He said: “Ako kasi pagka namatay ako wala nang makakaalam, eh. gusto ko from death bed, diretso sa crematorium. pagkatapos, may kaibigan akong piloto, kukunin yung ashes ko, itatapon sa dagat, sa Manila Bay.”
“That’s it. No obituaries, para kapag hinanap mo ako for an interview, ‘One year kong huling nakita..’ Patay na! [laughs],” Eddie added.
