Actress Ellen Adarna has set social media ablaze with a cryptic, biting statement that many netizens believe is a direct response to her estranged husband’s Derek Ramsay’s recent claims of “finding peace.”
Ellen took to her Instagram Stories to post a message that has since gone viral. Without naming anyone, the celebrity mom wrote:
“Natatawa ang group chat at nasabi na lang talaga [na] sana talaga ganyan [siya] sa totoong buhay. Sana talaga—kasi ang buti-buting tao sa camera. Wish namin sana ganyan ka talaga.
Wish namin sana maging ganyan ka talaga kung ano ka sa camera. Promise.”
The post was accompanied by the song “God Is” by Kanye West—a choice netizens interpreted as a sarcastic jab at the spiritual and “at peace” persona Ramsay presented during his sit-down with Morly Alinio.
During the interview, Derek admitted to being “deeply hurt” by the public’s perception of him as a “villain” following Ellen’s previous allegations of infidelity and gaslighting.
“I’m at peace,” Ramsay told Alinio. “I’ve always been a man of faith. I just turn my focus to Him… no matter the noise, I gave it all to Him.” said Derek.
