Actor Enchong Dee expressed his thoughts and opinions when he was referred to as “kuripot”.
In the latest YouTube vlog of radio broadcaster and talent manager Ogie Diaz, Ogie asked Enchong “Alam ko namang hindi kasiraan yung pagiging kuripot. Bakit ka kuripot?” To which Enchong answered “so nuong sinasabe ng tao na kuripot ka ganyan. Minsan kasi hindi mo naman kailangan i-explain sakanila na ‘this is my money. This is hard earned money. May patago ka ba para sabihin saakin na’….”

Ogie can’t help but laugh and said “nasasaktan ka pa pag sinasabihan kang kuripot?” Enchong answered “ngayon hindi na kaya nga ginawa ko yung ‘The Budgetarian’ kasi we have to, we have to empower people especially the Filipinos kasi ang kultura natin hindi pagsa-save eh.”
