Former senator Juan Ponce Enrile gave his opinion regarding the decision of former senator Bongbong Marcos not to participate in GMA-7s Presidential Interview hosted by Jessica Soho.
The camp of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos Jr. said the former senator declined the invitation to be interviewed by GMA-7’s multi-awarded journalist Jessica Soho because they believe that Soho is “biased against the Marcoses.”
In an interview with SMNI News, Enrile said the candidate also has the right to accept or decline any invitation for that mattter.
“The candidate can attend of not attend any interview. Kung ayaw nya, bakit mo pipilitin?” said ENrile.
“Kung iniisip nya na hindi nya kailangan yung interview na yun. Anng pakialam ni Jessica?” Enrile added.
“What power does she have to compel a candidate to go there and listen to her questions? Presumptuous naman yan.” asked Enrile.
