Former Vice President Leni Robredo acted as ‘ninang’ during the wedding of AJ and Olga Dee. AJ is actor Enchong Dee’s brother.
According to Robredo, the Dee family has been a close friend of the Robredo family.
Robredo added that she felt that she is the oldest ‘ninang’ in the group but she is happy that actor Piolo Pascual is now her ‘kumpare.’ Robredo also admitted that she is a certified fan of Piolo.
“AJ and Olga Dee’s wedding today.
The Dees are close family friends from our years in Naga. The Dee brothers – AJ, Enchong and Ice- were swimmers and we have spent years as swimming parents with Sonny and Tess and would hang out by the pool with them everyday. We have seen the boys grow up into fine, young men.
Since they moved to Manila, we seldom see each other anymore. But we have kept in touch, somehow. Enchong, despite his fame, has remained very humble and has helped me in so many ways. AJ met me in Oslo last January when I visited. From time to time, we see Sonny and Tess in church, where they regularly serve.
