Former beauty queen and actress Gloria Diaz expressed her honest thoughts and opinions when she was asked related to Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo’s chance in getting the crown on the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.
In an episode of “Cristy Ferminute” hosted by Cristy Fermin and Rommel Chika, Gloria shared her prediction on the upcoming Miss Universe project.
“May lagnat po ang buong bayan ngayon para sa kompetisyon ng Miss Universe, ano po sa tingin niyo sa tsansa ni Rabiya Mateo?” Cristy asked Gloria.
“Alam mo iba ang labanan ngayon eh, specially television. Alam mo when you’re standing on stage in front of so many people, talagang the best of you will come out. I’m not sure how it will be, in front of few people, yung talagang, alam mo when you’re excited your eyes shine, your walk is more exaggerated, your confident is over flowing. I’m not sure how will it be now with the you know, mga ganyan, mga zooming…” Gloria shared.
“Actually sa nakita ko kay Rabiya, maganda siya, may appeal siya. Well I’ve not seen her really walk, at parang mabaet ang mukha… I don’t know, I have not met her in person but everything I’ve seen of her because I often asked about her, she looks very wholesome, natural beauty…”
“Hindi pa naten nakikita yung iba. Alam mo even how beautiful the girl is, kailangan makita mo lahat eh. Then duon ka mako-confuse and that’s why I’m afraid to make a prediction. But I’m sure she’ll be in the top 5.” Gloria added.
