Gutierrez clan launches fund-raiser for COVID-19 frontliners and lockdown-affected workers

The star-studded Gutierrez Family has set up an online fund-raising campaign, called Laban sa COVID. which was shared on each of the different family members’ Instagram accounts yesterday, March 19.

In their posts, they explained that all the donations would be to aid workers and employees out of work due to the community lockdown, as well as help provide medical and other necessities for the COVID-19 frontliners such as medical staff, checkpoint personnel, and all PUV drivers.

“We are hoping to raise enough funds to buy all of these urgent necessities to help people in need,” Richard Gutierrez wrote on his Instagram post.

The online fund-raiser goal is set at P5 million, and also states that other donations such as medical supplies, food, and other necessities are also accepted.
