Senator Chiz Escudero arrived at the Commission on Election Sorsogon Provincial Office on Friday, October 12, alongside his wife Heart Evangelista to file his certificate of candidacy for governor of Sorsogon City.
In photos shared on the Senator’s Facebook page, Heart accompanied her husband as he submitted his COC for governor for the upcoming 2019 elections.

Also with the senator were the members of his slate, including Mayor Manuel ‘Wowo’ Fortes of Barcelona who will be his running-mate.
Escudero previously ran for vice presidential post in the 2016 elections but Liberal Party’s Leni Robredo won with 14,418,817 votes.
