In the proclamation event held in PICC where the new senators were proclaimed, actress Heart Evangelista attended the proclamation of husband Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero as one of the country’s senator.
Chiz got 20,271,458 votes in the 2022 election.
“Ang akin pong hiling, sana po simula sa araw na ito, magsimula na ang paghilom. Sana mga kulay na lamang na sumasagisag sa ating bandila ang ating dalhin.” said Chiz during his speech.
On Instagram, Heart posted a photo of her and Chiz with the following message:
“Congratulations to my darling Senator @escuderochiz”
