It’s Showtime’s ‘kuya escort’ Ion Perez has been gaining massive support and following from television viewers and fans as he and host Vice Ganda have established an on-screen chemistry in the show which the two seems to bring even behind the camera.
While he has been receiving support from his fans, Ion has also been getting negative remarks from bashers, especially after his statement clarifying that he and Vice are just friends.

In his interview with Push, Ion gave his message to his bashers, saying: “Hindi ko naman naisip na ganito pala kasakit ‘pag nakakatanggap ka ng masasakit na salita.”
“Ang masasabi ko lang naman, pasensya na kasi kung paano ako, ‘yung ugali ko bilang probinsyano, ganun talaga ako eh,” Ion added.
Amid the bashing he has been receiving, Ion expressed his appreciation to the fans who are still showing support for him and Vice.
“Nagpapasalamat ako kasi talagang chi-ni-cheer-up talaga nila ako, sobra. At nagpapasalamat ako sa mga Vice-Ion fans,” ion said.
In his recent interview, Ion denied being in a relationship with vice and said that the two of them are just very close to each other.
He said: “Ano lang kami, sobrang malapit lang kami sa isa’t isa, kaya siguro yung mga tao sobrang nag-iisip sila… ganoon yung reaksiyon nila.”
Vice later reacted to Ion’s statement in a separate interview, saying: “Ay, happy lang kami. Happy lang kami.”
