Actress Isabelle Daza raised 1 million pesos to help abused domestic helper Elvie Vergara to start all over again. Isabelle asked her friends and followers for donations to assist Elvie.
Isabelle handed over the manager’s checl to Elvie personally.
On Instagram, Isabelle posted a video and said:
“Meron po akong maliit na regalo sa iyo kasi nalaman ko ang kuwento mo nung nanonood ako ng news. At sa tulong ng lahat ng mga followers ko at lahat ng nanonood ng story mo, mayroon silang na-donate para sa iyo,” said Isabelle.
“Itong donation po namin ay regalo dahil sa lahat nang pinagdaanan mo po. Napakahirap ng buhay. P1 million po ito para sa iyo, para sa medical bills niyo, para sa future.” Isabelle added.
Isabelle captioned her video with the following message:
“Finally was able to give the money to Elvie Vergara herself. A total of ₱1,000,000 in a Manager’s check…To those who donated you have helped change a life 🥹 and thank you for trusting me that I wouldnt scam you lol.”
