Actress and vlogger Ivana Alawi made the birthday of her sister Mona Alawi extra special by surprising her with a brand new car – an SUV worth PhP 1.6 million.
In her vlog, Ivana said the car is not just a gift but a reward at the same time for Mona’s dedication for her studies.
“Gustong-gusto niya yon, ipon daw siya. Naisip ko bilhin na lang natin tapos ibigay natin. Kasi sobrang deserved niya. She’s studying hard. Nilalampasan niya yung sakit niya. And she’s fighting hard,” Ivana said.
Ivana initially played a prank on Mona pretending that she is quarreling with a driver who is driving the car which turned out to be the Ivana’s gift to Mona.
On Instagram, Ivana posted a photo of Mona and the car with the following caption:
“Happy birthday to my bestie 🥹❤️ Papakabait na ako promise wala na muna pranks 🤪
Enjoy your new car”
