Kapamilya star Jane De Leon revealed that she is willing to shave her hair off if it is needed in a role for a project.
In the recent episode of ‘The Interviewer Presents’ hosted by TV Host Boy Abunda on his YouTube channel, he featured Jane for an interview. In the said interview, Jane shared some of her preparations in portraying the iconic Filipino superhero, ‘Darna’.
According to Jane, aside from her physical training, one of the preparations she had is to cut her hair short.
“Isa na rin po yan sa pagpapagupit ng buhok. First time ko magpagupit ng buhok ulet after ng ilang years… Kasi before bata lang ako but now kasi as you know 20’s na…” Jane shared.
“But are you not the type of girl na hirap na hirap baguhin ang hairstyle.” Tito Boy said.
Jane shared that she is willing to get bald if it is much needed in a character for a program.
“Naku tito hindi po. Kahit kalbo po yan kung kailangan po talaga sa show, kailangan po sa karakter, why not.” Jane shared.
Jane also shared that the staffs of ‘Darna’ suggested for her to wear a wig.
“Actually gusto po talaga nila ng wig, kung pwede po wig. Pero sabi ko mas okay talaga kung short hair para ma-embrace ko na rin po yung young Narda. Kasi yung short hair po is for young Narda e. And iba po yung adult Narda and si Darna. So magkakaiba po silang lahat.” Jane said.
