Kapamilya star Janine Gutierrez expressed her desire to be known for her craft as an actress and not just for having a beautiful face.
In the latest YouTube vlog of TV host Boy Abunday, he featured Janine for an interview. During the interview, Janine expressed what she felt when people called her ‘beautiful’.
“When people say you’re beautiful, you don’t necessarily take this as an advantage?” Tito Boy asked Janine.
“I can’t deny that it is an advantage. Pero when I was also starting kasi, whenever I would have a TV show that would come out and then yung reactions sa Twitter is maganda ako, pakiramdam ko kulang yung ginawa ko. Ang nakita lang nila ay yung itsura ko hindi yung nararamdaman ko…” Janine admitted.
“Janine I get this sense, I mean in a few minutes of this conversation, that ‘Tito Boy I want to be taken seriously’. Am I right?” Tito Boy asked Janine during the interview.
“Yes. Yes Tito Boy that’s why I always wanted to be more than just pretty. More than just anak ni Lotlot anak ni Pilita. I really wanted to make it known na deserve ko kung ano yung pagkakataon na ibinibigay saakin.” Janine said.
