Actor Jason Abalos defended his girlfriend Vickie Rushton from a basher who gave a negative remark about her performance in the Binibining Pilipinas question and answer portion.
In one of Jason’s Instagram posts showing a photo of Vicki before the pageant, a netizen referred to the candidate as “overrated”, saying that she was only a favorite among sponsors.

The netizen wrote: “Overrated, she’s just sponsors’ favorite. Lol, the question she got for Q&A was even bias because her advocacy is mental health yet she didn’t answer well. Maybe Ms. U isn’t really for her. #JustSaying”
Jason then responded to the netizen, saying: “sali ka mag cheer kami for you :)”
Vickie made it to the Top 15 of this year’s pageant and received several special awards.
