In a Heart to Heat talk video blog between actors Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola, Luis asked Jessy the following question: “Do you edit your photos? Or do you use a photo editing app to beautify yourself?” The question is a question most netizens are asking because of the photos Jessy is posting on her social media account.
Jessy was honest enough to say that she do edit her photos but for the following reasons:
“I edit naman, pero its more of the color and lighting. Sympre di naman perfect ang skin natin lahat. Like paano kung may isa kang malaking malaking pimple?” said Jessy.
“It’s not deceiving people. It’s more of like posting whatever your comfortable with. Sympre not to the point na wala ng features na nakikita sa face mo, yung nag-aalter na talaga yung hitsura mo.” added Jessy.
Jessy also admitted that six or seven year ago, she is heavily using editing apps to make her arms smaller and waist smaller, and legs. Jessy added that she was so affected by bashers commenting about her looks that’s why she resulted to editing her photos.
But as times goes by, Jessy has learned to accept her flaws and has learned how to take beautiful shots, that doesn’t need to much editing anymore.
