Actress and vlogger Jessy Mendiola revealed that she suffered from food poisoning during the first trimester of her pregnancy.
It can be recalled that recently, Jessy and her husband, actor and TV host Luis Manzano happily announced to the public that they are expecting their first child.
In Jessy’s latest YouTube vlog, the celebrity couple expressed their honest thoughts and sentiments as the opened up about their pregnancy journey. During the vlog, they also talked about their experience during Jessy’s first trimester.
“Mas tumaba pa ako sakanya nuong first trimester. Parang napasa niya saakin lahat.” Luis shared as Jessy can’t help but laugh.
“Hindi, alam mo kung bakit ako hindi tumaba nuon, na food poison ako. Six week ko ata.” Jessy revealed.
According to Luis, they got really nervous at that time and it came to a point where they needed to go to a hospital to check Jessy’s condition.
“Grabe yun, the whole day akong balik ng balik ng bathroom. Tapos umiiyak na ako, tapos nagka lagnat na ako nung hapon na, dinala na niya ako sa hospital. Buti nalang si doc Medina malapit siya sa hospital nung time na yun, dinaanan niya talaga ako. Sinabihan niya ako na, ‘it’s okay basta’t maturukan ka lang ng dextrose….’ Sabi niya, ‘of course hindi naman mabuti na nagka-food poisoning ka pero at least ngayon nangyari, nuong 6th week.’ Kasi kumbaga hindi pa masyadong buo si peanut.” Jessy shared.
“Never pa ako nakakitang ganun karaming beses nag banyo ever. So ako siyempre, and I’m sure para sakanya din, actually para saakin doble ang worry ko. Siyempre para sa misis ko at the same time para kay peanut…” Luis shared.
According to Jessy she seldom had morning sickness during her first trimester. The celebrity couple also shared how clingy Jessy is to Luis.
“Oo, clingy ako… tapos sa bahay, sa bahay nung first trimester ko masungit ako minsan. As in talagang hindi ko maintindihan yung sarili ko. Kasi siyempre siguro anduon na din yung emotions or yung mood mo na parang nagbabago kasi yung buhay mo, sa isang iglap nagbago lahat. So imagine mainit yung ulo ko nun.” Jessy shared.
Jessy also shared that it came to a point where her assistant wanted to leave because she was hot headed at that time.
