On a Facebook live-streamed fun-raising telethon “Mamatay Kang Hayup na Covid Ka!” by Furball, long-gone actor John Lloyd Cruz guested along with hosts Ramon “Monra” Bautista and Jun “Bayaw” Sabayton.
“Maraming salamat sa inyo. Sa lahat ng front liners, mabuhay kayo! Kulang itong efforts ng Furball para pasalamatan ang mga frontliners natin sa kanilang serbisyo. Maraming Salamat sa inyo.” – JL was heard again after a long while away from the limelight.

The project was initiated by Furball , a collective of creative industry stalwarts, to raise funds for MBB Diliman Foundation Inc, in support of the scientists, technicians and volunteers for the efficient validation of test kits at the Philippine Genome Center, the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, the UP National institute for Health, and the Lung Center of the Philippines. From April 4, 2020 until April 14, 2020 the fundraising will run for 10 straight days catering different guest stars, professionals and personalities.
