Singer Jose Mari Chan can’t help but be emotional during the rehearsals for his live performance of his iconic Christmas songs.
In an episode of GMA’s program titled, ‘Unang Hirit’, Jose was featured as their guest. In the said episode, Jose performed one of his iconic songs titled, “Christmas In Our Hearts”.
During the interview, the show’s host Arnold Clavio revealed that Jose became emotional during his rehearsals. According to Arnold, they were shocked to see Jose cry.
“Habang nagri-rehearse siya nagulat kami kasi naging emotional po si Tito Joe, talagang umiyak, nagulat din kami… Anyway, bakit ka naiyak tito Jo? Nung naririnig mo yung background?” Arnold shared as he asked Jose.
“While I was singing the song, parang biglang na-feel ko yung original feeling ko when I composed that song. And after 32 years, that song continues to be relevant to the young and old people alike. So nakaka-touching.” Jose shared.
