Fans and followers of Julia Montes and Kim Chiu got excited after Star Cinema announced that the two celebrities will be doing movies again for Star Cinema.

On Instagram, Star Cinema posted the following:

“KIM CHIU, JULIA MONTES TO MAKE THEIR STAR CINEMA BIG SCREEN COMEBACKS VERY SOON 💫

It’s been a long time coming! 🌟 Award-winning actresses Kim Chiu and Julia Montes have been revealed to be making their comeback to the silver screen with Star Cinema!

Star Cinema’s head, Kriz Gazmen, couldn’t contain his excitement as he took to Instagram to share the big news. On May 11 and 15, he posted about the team meetings he led with Kim and Julia, respectively, hinting at the exciting ventures that lie ahead.

“Super happy afternoon with @montesjulia08! Welcome back to @starcinema!!! SO EXCITED! Let’s do this!!!” he stated alongside a photo featuring Julia Montes beaming together with the Star Cinema team.

Just a few days later, Kriz shared another exciting post, this time with Kim: “We’ve been wanting to work together again for years now but timing is everything, and now, it’s finally happening 😭 Welcome back to @starcinema, @chinitaprincess!!! I am so proud of your back-to-back successes and can’t wait for this next one! Let’s do thissssss!!!”

Kim last collaborated with Star Cinema in the 2020 horror flick “U-Turn”, delivering a performance that cemented her status as one of the nation’s scream queens. Julia’s last Star Cinema project, meanwhile, was the 2015 psychological romance film “Halik sa Hangin”, where she showcased her impressive range and depth as an actress.”
