TV broadcaster and content creator Julius Babao denied allegations made by Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto that he received PHP 10 million for his interview with contractors Sarah and Curlee Discaya.
In an article published by Pep.ph, Julius said there is no truth to the PHP 10 million claim and added that Sarah has not announced her candidacy.

“Unang-una, ang interview na yan ay hindi isang news report. Ito ay lifestyle feature para sa YT channel ko na naglalabas ng mga inspiring success stories.” said Julius.
“At the time and month in 2024 when the interview was made, it was a profile feature of a couple who rose from rags to riches because of their different business ventures.” he said.
Walang katotohanang may 10 million na involved for this interview. Ang layunin ng vlog ay ma-inspire ang mga taong posibleng maging matagumpay kung magsisipag lang at didiskarte sa buhay. Very interesting kasi ang rags-to-riches story nila.” Julius added.
