Multi-awarded TV broadcaster Karen Davila expressed her sentiments over the absense of ABS-CBN on free TV amidst the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.
Provinces in the South were devasted due to strong winds and rain brought about by the typhoon.
On Twitter, Karen posted the following:
“What having ABSCBN on free TV means to the public. #TyphoonOdette
VIEWER: I just wanted to say I am feeling the loss of abs on air. I feel helpless as I want to track the effects of the typhoon pero no coverage. How sad because so many of my friends are affected.”

On a separate tweet, Karen said:
“How I really feel on Twitter
NASAAN NA? Where is ABS-CBN RNG when it is needed most? People are being deprived of information on what’s happening in hard-to-reach areas. Yes, other news media organizations also give updates but these are not enough. Blame the information gap on Duterte and the shameless 70.”
