New beauty queens were hailed during the recently held Miss World Philippines 2018 grand coronation held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, October 7.
Among 39 candidates, 26-year-old Katarina Rodriguez from Davao was crowned as the Miss World Philippines 2018 and will represent the country in the upcoming Miss World pageant to be held in China on December 8, 2018.

According to a report by Pep.ph, Katarina also won special awards such as Miss Bluewater Day Spa, Miss Cosmo Skin, Best in Long Gown, and the Beach Beauty Challenge winner.

Meanwhile, Maureen Montagne was crowned as Miss Eco Philippines 2018, Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez as Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2018, Kim-Lei Mugford as Miss Multinational Philippines 2018, Chanel Morales as the First Princess, and Pearl Hung as the Second Princess.
