Actors James Reid and Kathryn Bernardo are rumored to be starring in a new TV series for ABS-CBN. This was disclosed by talent manager and content creator Ogie Diaz in his online program Showbiz Update.
According to Ogie, it has long been a plan of ABS-CBN to try pairing different love teams. The love teams KathNiel (Kathryn/Daniel), LizQuen (Liza/Enrique), and JaDine (James/Nadine) have been hugely popular for years. Will fans embrace seeing them teamed up with other partners? That remains to be seen.
Ogie added that the TV series will begin taping this 2025 and is expected to air in 2026.
Fans and followers who heard about the possible team-up have already coined a name for the two — “KathReid.”
