Singer Kean Cipriano called for Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III to step down from his post over how he is handling the COVID-19 situation in the country. A new COVID-19 strain was discovered in United Kingdom and is now present in various countries.
Duque commented that “Travel ban will be considered only once community transmission of the new variant has been recorded in the country.”
On Twitter, Kean urged the secretary to resign since Filipino lives are on the line.
