Actress Kim Chiu shared her opinion regarding those who auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother Connect who supported the call to shutdown ABS-CBN after its failure to secure a renewal of its franchise from Congress. There are those who supported the “YesToABSCBNShutdown” hashtag.
During an online presson of her movie ‘U-Turn’, Kim was asked what’s her thoughts about those who auditioned for PBB who supported the ABS-CBN shutdown.
“Okay lang. At least hindi nanaig ‘yung sinabi nilang ‘Yes to ABS-CBN Shutdown.’ Meron pa ring liwanag” said Kim.
“Sa ginagawa nilang ‘yan, sinu-support pa rin nila ‘yung Kapamilya channel. So parang, kinain lang nila ‘yung sinabi nila!” added Kim.
“Maganda rin, kasi at least nabigyan sila ng hope na maging isang housemate and matupad nila ‘yung pangarap nila for their family. And naniniwala pa rin sila because of Kapamilya Channel, because of ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ opening the house again sa lahat ng mga nangangarap — na there’s still hope. Kahit na sinabi nilang ‘Yes to ABS-CBN Shutdown,’ naniniwala pa rin silang merong pag-asa dito sa ABS,” ended Kim.
Kim herself is a former housemate of Pinoy Big Brother.
