Kris Aquino revealed to the public the amount involved in her financial issue with her former business manager Nicko Falcis. The amount reached a staggering P40 million pesos worth of investments for her sons Joshua and Bimby.
This is the first time Kris disclosed the amount.
On her Instagram account, Kris posted the following:
“tried my best to take a selfie that looked okay… because all others suffering from autoimmune diseases more debilitating than mine deserve only RESPECT & ADMIRATION from me… the Holy Spirit led me to read this.
Galatians 6:NLT
2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. 3 If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.
it shouldn’t be just about me. i believe i can be forgiven for making it about my sons. parents, especially solo ones, will understand me… but maybe i’m on this journey because i can shine a light for others questioning why they’ve been losing or gaining weight, started losing clumps of hair, have numbed hands and feet, feel extreme fatigue or soreness in their joints, experience unexplainable depression, have hives all over the body especially in arms & legs, or have low grade fever often.
There are more than 80 autoimmune diseases but when you google autoimmune disease, healthline.com and webmd.com are informative yet easy to read.
To end, i was wrong to cast blame on my former business manager for my condition- obviously even at 21 years old when my severe allergic reaction to menstrual pain medicine had doctors asking my sister, viel to sign the consent for an emergency tracheotomy, and the very difficult time while pregnant & giving birth to bimb at 36- heaven already gave me a bonus because most of my symptoms had remained dormant until late 2014 when my hypertension started. Allow me to clarify the financial issue, i asked for an accounting of ₱40M invested for my sons, and financial reports for our 12 Potato Corner+Nacho Bimby branches and my lawyers & i were ignored.
The lawyer of my former manager’s MENTOR had contacted Dean Nilo Divina today and asked if the 2 of them could talk about a settlement. To him i say, “Maswerte ka, there’s a man who sees you as his own son.” i believe this was out of his own volition, and my respect for that man’s integrity grew even more. Hindi nya kadugo pero tinaya nya ang reputasyon nya. To that man i say, on hindsight, had you and my Ate only spoken in September, we’d have had peace.”
