TV host Kim Atienza apologized to netizens who got hurt and were disappointed with the tweet made by Kuya Kim regarding monkeypox.
In his tweet, Kuya Kim mentioned that monkeypox is usually spread M to M (male to male) that got the ire of the LGBTQ community.
In a series of tweets, Kuya Kim apologized and corrected himself:
“My deepest apologies to those that were affected by my tweet. Some of the things I said were ambiguous and caused a lot of hurt especially to members of the LGBTQ community. You are correct Monkeypox is sexually transmitted but also by non sexual close contact. It not an STD.”
