Miss International 2005 titleholder Precious Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz expressed her support to presidential aspirant VP Leni Robredo.
In her Instagram account, Lara posted several photos as she expressed her support to the presidential bid of VP Leni. Lara also expressed her admiration to VP Leni as she described her as ‘honest and trustworthy’. Lara also clarified why she decided to support VP Leni in the upcoming national elections as she wrote in the caption:
“Our nation’s hope for a better tomorrow cannot be found in one leader- not even in Leni Robredo, only God can truly save us, He alone can transform our nation… but that doesn’t mean that we don’t do anything…
We are called to do what is right, we are called to speak for those who cannot. We are called to seek justice and correct oppression and this is why I am campaigning for Leni Robredo to be the President of the Philippines. There are times we need to keep quiet and observe, but there is also a time to stand and speak up.
God gives us wisdom to choose the right leaders..and madam Leni is honest and trustworthy – walang bahid ng corruption, knowledgeable and full of wisdom and she acts with so much compassion, she is hardworking and diligent and what I love about her the most is she has the heart of a servant… can you say the same for the one you are voting for?
Before you say I’m selfish – gusto ko lang manalo si Leni para sa sarili ko… i pray you realize you’re wrong. Gusto ko siya manalo hindi lang para sa akin at para sa mga anak ko, kundi para din sayo kababayan, para sa bayan natin. Mahal kita kahit ano pa ang sabihin mo sakin 💕
I know all of us only want what’s best for the Philippines and come May, whoever is elected, let us pray for our leaders but put our hope in God alone, the One who knows and controls all things.
