Atty. Larry Gadon reacted to statements made by some senators regarding the quality of programs shown on television. Senate President Vicente Sotto filed a new bill seeking to give ABS-CBN a fresh 25 year license.
“I noticed TV stations have been replacing their news programs with Animes. It means competition is absent and mediocrity is creeping in because of the absence of a strong competitor like ABS-CBN.” said Sotto.
On his Facebook page, Atty Gadon said it is not the senators job to foresee or monitor the quality of programs but MTRCB. He then added that if they want quality programs, then might as well put ‘EAT BULAGA’ on every station.
