Broadway singer and actress Lea Salonga has already coached several young singers in the kids’ edition of the Kapamilya singing competition “The Voice” and Juan Karlos Labajo who is one of the show’s contestants has been making a name in the music industry.
Juan Karlos also known as JK recently released his music video “Buwan” which drew attention from netizens because of its ‘dark’ theme and story.

In her Twitter account, Lea expressed how proud she is for JK whom she has witnessed from being a child contestant to finally becoming a recording artist.
She wrote: “Next up: Juan Karlos, whose video makes me a little uncomfortable only because I’ll always see him as a literal child. But wow. So impressive the vocals, ha?! I’m very proud!”
