Broadway star Lea Salonga was among those who perform at the White House State Dinner for South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol in celebration of the the 70th anniversary of the alliance between US and the Republic of Korea.
Lea was so excited as it was her first time to perform for a state dinner at the White House.
Lea’s performance was accompanied by the United States Marine Band Chamber Orchestra and the United States Army Band Herald Trumpets.
Aside from Lea, the other performers who were also invited at the State Dinner were Tony nominee Norm Lewis, and former “Wicked” star Jessica Vosk.
On Instagram, Lea posted a couple of photos with the following caption:
“Oh what a night!!! This was my first time to perform for a state dinner at the White House! Thank you, @michaelarden for asking me to be part of it!”
