Entertainment columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis defended actress Angel Locsin from critics over her social media post for the health workers.
It can be recalled that recently, Angel expressed her gratitude to all health workers as she wrote in her Instagram account, “This crisis has made me realize that the world can work without politicians, businessmen, police, and even without actors like me. but the world can never work without health workers. Again, thank you for all that you do. Sending everyone strength, hope, and love”
Lolit took to her Instagram account to defend Angel from her bashers. Lolit also expressed her admiration and support to all the health workers as she shared that they should be the ‘priority’ specially at the time of the pandemic. Lolit also saluted Angel as she wrote:
“Iyon sinasabi ng marami na dapat hindi sumawsaw si Angel Locsin sa issue ng mga health workers Salve, parang unfair naman. Dapat nga pasalamat sila na sumawsaw si Angel Locsin dahil hindi lang ito issue ng mga health worker, issue ito ng bayan.”
“Imagine mo kung talagang itutuloy nila ang strike dahil nga sa hindi natupad na mga pangako sa kanila sa panahon ngayon na ang daming maysakit at kulang ang manpower sa mga hospital. Imagine mo ang gulo kung sakali at magkulang mga magtra trabaho ngayon sa mga hospital at clinic. Grabe. Kasi nga pag ipinangako na, tuparin at ibigay.”
“Ok lang sana kundi nangako at hindi inasahan iyon promise nila. In fairness, dapat talaga na priority ngayon mga health workers dahil talagang sila ang pinaka frontline defense natin. Naku, sige lang Angel Locsin, salamat sa tulong mo sa mga health workers para marinig problema nila. Salute ! Fighting !”
