Lolit Solis: “It’s about time I retire”

After years of being part of the entertainment industry, Lolita “Lolit” A. Solis finally decided to retire from her career.

Lolit started her career at the age of 18 as a copywriter for the local radio station, DZEC. She later became a feature writer for several newspapers and the rest is history. She became a talent manager, TV host, and entertainment writer.

On Instagram, Lolit made the announcement by posting the following:

No need to prove anything or be transparent on how I feel.

Basta I feel completely happy this Christmas. I really appreciate their gifts. Sa mga non showbiz friends natin na sila Bernard, Marivic, Faye at Tet,very grateful for their friendship.

It was a very happy life na talagang utang ko sa showbiz.

It’s about time I retire dahil ako na lang sa barkada namin ang natitira. Time to stop while still enjoying. Goodbye, and Thank You very much for the friendship and patronage. All my LOVE. Babu and bongga”
