Lolit Solis on AlDub love team: “Phenomenal ang rise nila, kaya madali uli buhayin”

Despite doing separate projects, Kapuso stars and ‘Eat Bulaga’ hosts Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza still have their loyal AlDub fan base who are continuously showing their support to the former on-screen partners amid their seldom appearance together.

While Alden just recently had his successful movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye” where he was paired with Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo for the first time, Maine is currently in the spotlight as she is set to star in her upcoming film ‘Isa Pa With Feelings’ with Carlo Aquino.

In an Instagram post, entertainment columnist Lolit Solis gave her opinion regarding Maine’s noticeable potential when it comes to acting even when paired with a new leading man and expressed her hope for the comeback of the well-loved team up of AlDub.

Lolit wrote: “Para ngang isa rin hit ang ginawang project nila Maine Mendoza at Carlo Aquino, Salve. Isa Pa With Feelings ay lagi pinag-uusapan ng mga showbiz writer dahil ang ganda daw ng premise at ang ganda tingnan ng pagtatambal ni Maine at Carlo. Talaga naman given the chance, meron talaga ibubuga si Maine sa pag-arte dahil very expressive ang mukha niya, she can convey emotions very well, at magaling tiyempo niya sa dialogues.”

The AlDub love team first gained popularity in 2015 in the ‘Eat Bulaga’ segment ‘Kalyeserye’ where Maine portrayed the role of ‘Yaya Dub’.
